Original Allan Herschell Company carousel jumper horse from the mid to late 1920's. Horse is in good overall condition but does have typical cracks at assembly joints and a few other flaws as can be seen in the photos. The entire horse is made of wood with the body being hollow as is typical of most early carousel animals. Includes nice oak base and brass pole. Also includes a small photo album of this horse prior & during restoration about 20 years ago. This horse would make a delightful addition to for any carousel collector or would look great in a country, rustic, childrens, or equine-related decor. Carousel horses have a huge following in the United States and around the world, especially if they are the original handmade horses of the late 1800's & early 1900's.
